Football

Season 2026 will see The Gap FC transform its football program with the goal of catering for players of all skill levels where practically possible.  Across our Men’s, Women's, and Juniors programs we will be offering the following three playing options:

• Academy – playing in the FQ Seniors and FQ Academy for Junior competitions.
• Advanced Metro – playing a high standard of football in Division 1-2 Metro competitions with the focus on development and results.
• Social – playing in Metro competitions, generally Division 3+ against local sides for player enjoyment.

Note that players wishing to play in high-performance and advanced metro teams are required to participate in player trials that are held generally in October/November each year.
